Yesterday we went to the Veterans Park off Central with my good friend Courtney, her two boys Pierce & Holt, and a few of Courtney's friends along with their little ones. Merrin had the BEST time! It was Merrin's very first experience at a "sprayground" (or some call them "splash parks") and I was skeptical if she would even get in the water but she did and had a wonderful time! Pierce was the most adventurous running through all of the sprinklers and Holt enjoyed climbing on the playground equipment. We got to meet several new friends including Wendy and her little girl Lula Porter. Ironically enough, Lula Porter and Merrin are exactly the same age AND Wendy and I are both pregnant and due just two weeks apart. After having fun in the water, we all sat on a blanket and ate our picnic lunches. All in all it was a great time and we definitely look forward to going back soon!
