Although the outcome was not as we had hoped for, at least this election is over!! No more phones calls, annoying commercials and countless yard signs (which yes, we were guilty of). We all prayed for God's will to be done and now we will continue to pray for our nation! I will say that no matter who is president, there is no other country I would rather be living in. We are truly blessed for our freedom and I hope we never have to live a day without it.

At least it's over!
Today was my first experience of voting in person as the past two elections were by absentee, one while I was in college and the second while Keith and I were living in Canada, and I have to say it was a very exciting experience. I felt privileged to be able to walk in and cast my vote albeit not the outcome I had wanted it was a wonderful feeling to have a voice...and as you can see below, Merrin had a great time enjoying the free chocolate they were handing out at our local precinct (it kept her quiet while I maneuvered through the electronic ballot).

I'm glad its over, too. It *is* a great feeling to be able to vote! Merrin is such a cutie! I love the Halloween pictures and her cute expression in the ladybug dress!
Such a sad day for me as well. I'm mourning the Repulican party at home today. Merrin is TOO cute!
AMEN!! The nation will need our prayers now more than ever...And we all are very blessed to be able to have a voice and a choice.
